Polaris Lighting Delivered the Lighting for Park Hotel Novel in Veliko Tarnovo

<p>Polaris Lighting delivered the lighting for Park Hotel Novel, a new three-star boutique hotel that opened in Veliko Tarnovo in November 2024. Located at 25 Marno Pole Street, the property provides convenient access to the city centre, the Asen Dynasty Monument and many of Veliko Tarnovo’s principal cultural and historical attractions. With 28 guest rooms, a restaurant and carefully designed common areas, the hotel provides a contemporary environment for both leisure and business stays.</p>

<p>The lighting concept is based on warm, subdued illumination that highlights the natural materials, colours and decorative details of the interior. Different layers of light are carefully balanced to provide comfort for guests while establishing a recognisable visual identity. Functional illumination is complemented by linear systems, directional spotlights, pendant fixtures and discreetly integrated lighting accents.</p>

<h2>A reception area with a distinctive lighting identity</h2>

<p>In the reception area, a black rectangular lighting system follows the geometry of the ceiling and visually defines the principal service zone. Linear modules provide the main illumination, while directional spotlights highlight the hotel logo, reception desk and decorative features. Vertical light behind the wall panels introduces depth, while warmer accents around the upholstered furniture establish a comfortable waiting area.</p>

<h2>Lighting that guides movement</h2>

<p>The corridors are illuminated with a combination of continuous linear elements, compact spotlights and discreet accents inside decorative niches. Light highlights the artwork along the walls and establishes a clear direction towards the guest rooms. The warm visual atmosphere and even distribution reduce harsh contrasts, transforming the circulation areas into a natural continuation of the overall interior concept.</p>

<p>In the restaurant, light forms part of a rich composition of timber, brick, metal and natural greenery. Colourful ceiling panels are emphasised by compact points of light, while cylindrical pendant fixtures bring the illumination closer to the tables. Directional spotlights highlight the walls and decorative features without disturbing the relaxed atmosphere required for breakfast, dinner or an informal meeting.</p>
