OXIA Office Building Sofia

OXIA Office Building, Sofia – Lighting by Polaris Lighting

For the OXIA office building in Sofia, we implemented lighting solutions for the workspaces, meeting rooms and communal areas. We combined suspended linear luminaires, decorative fixtures and integrated lighting to suit the different functions and interior designs.

OXIA is located at 44 Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, opposite Sofia Tech Park. The building is part of the Bernard Investments portfolio and houses WorkHub spaces with individual workstations, private offices, meeting rooms and over 300 sq. m of communal areas.

Linear Lighting Above the Workstations

In the open-plan offices, we used suspended linear luminaires with rounded contours. We positioned them above groups of desks, following the workstation layout and the geometry of each space.

The light-coloured housings fit naturally among the exposed services and concrete ceilings. The elongated lighting forms define the work areas and complement the wood finishes, colourful partitions and greenery.

Lighting for Meetings and Social Interaction

In the meeting rooms, we implemented solutions featuring clean-lined linear luminaires and decorative pendant lights. We selected their shapes and positioning to complement the tables and the character of each room.

In the dining and informal meeting areas, we used spherical pendant lights suspended at different heights. They add a decorative accent above the tables and bar counters, visually connecting the lighting with the furniture and greenery. This gives the communal spaces a distinctive character within the overall office interior.

Lighting Integrated into the Interior Details

In the relaxation areas and communal spaces, we installed linear lighting within the niches and furniture arrangements. This highlights the wood finishes, shelving and decorative elements. The illuminated contour of the circular niche creates a distinctive feature in one of the shared areas.

In the corridors, we used a sequence of light lines that follows the circulation route. In the washrooms, we complemented the ceiling lighting with illumination around the mirrors.

Through our work at OXIA, we brought different lighting solutions together in a cohesive concept — from the linear luminaires above the desks to the decorative and integrated lighting in the meeting and relaxation areas.
